Recipe to Grow a Christmas Candy Cane
1 bag oreos
1 candy cane seed
1 bucket (we think the red ones work best)
lots of Christmas Spirit
1- Turn oreos and the filling into crumbs. The filling will act as fertilizer for the candy cane seeds.
2- If you have a big bucket - fill the bottom with Rice Krispie cereal. It will act like pebbles to help your Candy Cane seeds grow.

You always come up with creative ideas that take a lot of work with your kids. I "Think" about things but never take the time to do them. :)
cute pictures and fun idea. How do you think of these things? I really need to know.
Oops, again I am logged in under Tony's google account. It's Stephanie.
Michael came up with this one a few years ago. It's been fun - Christmas Eve when the candy cane gets thicker and grows the bend is interesting - I'll post more pics. This one works better than Santa's coming or elves are watching for us. Jes was onery for a day and hers didn't grow...
That is such a cute idea. I love it. Have any of your "picked" their crop early and eaten it!?
